The Route des Vins of Alsace is this capricious ribbon which runs along the foot of the Vosges. Long of 170 kms, the Route des Vins of Alsace offers very picturesque sceneries: vineyards, forests, ruins of the castles of the Middle Age, cities surrounded by old ramparts, flowered lanes, Roman churches and...the Château d'Orschwihr.

The Château is located in Orschwihr (where else), next to the church in the very southern part of the vineyard. You will find the village Orschwihr 20 km south of Colmar. When you drive from Colmar towards Belfort on the N 83, there is an exit marked Orschwihr. Just follow the signs.
